Another condition that could cause stomach problem is indigestion. Indigestion is caused by bad eating habits such as overeating or eating too many junk food and carbonated drinks. To remedy indigestion, eat lots of fruits, drink warm water, and eat small meal portions. One home remedy is to prepare 2 to 3 drops of garlic oil or a half cup of Soya oil and use it to gently massage the stomach area. Also, drinking a glass of water with 2 to 3 drops of mint essence every 4 hours will help remedy indigestion.

For stomach ache in infants, one possible cause is colic. If you suspect your infant has colic and thereby abdominal pain, avoid overfeeding. Also skip foods with high sugar content such as undiluted juices.
